this is the menu when you first open up the game. it’s pretty basic and shares a lot of similarities with other games that use valve’s engines. for most older games, it makes sense that the aspect ratio is set to the default 4:3. I could've changed the ratio but it was giving me problems trying to run it on my native resolution 1536x1024 (yes ik... it's a laptop
). if anyone knows the problem pls tell me :p
This mod based on halflife which uses the goldsrc engine. what is rather interesting is this turns an fps into a arcade rally game. Imagine if somthing like this mod was to release today. Both the maps and models give off early PS1 and PC graphics.

my favorite vehicle to use is the subaru impreza with the bob eyes, speaking of vehicles there are 10 cars and 8 brands. for some reason ford is the only one which doesn't have a real name, instead the brand is called "foam". there are some simple upgrades you can do to your vehicle by using the money you get from completing races. and finally this mod also adds multplayer, which almost all the servers have died now lol makes sense for an over 20 year old mod.
for anyone curious, the version I used is 1.1
